Full-Chip Systems – Vintage Mica

Of all our coating systems, the Vintage Mica series is perhaps the most sought after. Its popularity could be attributed to its ten stunning flake blends – Bedstone, Cobalt, Desert Edge, Gold Mine, Gun Metal, Galaxy, Quarry, Shalestone, Silverado and Zircon. Mirroring all our mica-infused coatings, our Vintage Mica line offers remarkable resilience, alongside unmatched visual quality. The installation process begins with concrete preparation (patching and diamond grinding) before applying a thick layer of our 100%-solids epoxy primer (we use epoxy as the primer, not polyurea, to effectively mitigate moisture). Following this step, we broadcast, in a full-flake spread, your selected Vintage Mica flake blend into the “wet” primer coat. To complete the installation, we then apply two coats (not just one) of our clear, industrial-grade, 100%-solids polyaspartic clear. The end product will leave you awestruck. Unlike any wafer-thin “1-day polyurea” system, our systems exceed 35 mils, providing superior resistance to impacts, abrasions, staining….and most importantly, delamination (peeling) due to moisture and high hydrostatic pressures…something the “1-day” guys just won’t warrant.
